Rep. Giffords Alleged Shooter, Jared Loughner, Motives and Background

A mass shooting took place Saturday morning at an event hosted by Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. Rep. Giffords was seriously wounded and six others died, including a 9 year old child, and Federal Judge John Roll. after a gunman opened fire at a public event at a Tucson grocery store on Saturday. The 40-year-old Democrat, who was re-elected to her third term in November, was hosting a "Congress on Your Corner" event at a Safeway in northwest Tucson when a gunman ran up and started shooting. Pictures from the scene showed a Giffords banner hanging from the storefront. After shooting Gifford, the gunman opened fire indiscriminately for a few seconds, hitting a number of people. The suspect ran off and was tackled by a bystander. He was taken into custody. Witnesses described him as in his late teens or early 20s, short hair, and dressed in all black. The shooter has been identified as Jarod Loughner , a 21 year old man who posted three recent videos on youtube promoting his apparent anarchist and atheist views. He had also favorited a video entitled "America: your last memory in a terrorist nation" which was a video portraying a burning of the American flag. In one of his videos he diagrams that religions and beliefs are part of the mind control. In the description He writes "You control every -- thought, action, and lifestyle -- for the person or people as the mind controller. I'm able to control every belief and religion by being the mind controller." Almost immediately after this horrible crime occurred, media personalities, politicians, and liberals started wringing their hands about the violent rhetoric of the Tea Party and Conservative leaders such as Sarah Palin. The top tweets on Twitter were from leftists who blamer Sarah Palin. Dem. State Sen. Linda Lopez implied to shepherd smith on air that she blamed the Tea Party for the attack. This was shameful and yet again is seen that these horrible attacks, from Timothy McVeigh to the Florida school board shooter to the recent shooter, are often perpetrated by anarchists who hate government. Republicans, mainstream libertarians, conservatives, and tea party activists support gov. doing its duty. We honor and support the elected officials who serve, and honor the symbols and documents of our nation, unlike this scum, who celebrated the burning of our flag. A vile person who claims the Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf as two of his favorite books does in not in any way stand with patriotic Americans who love God and Country!
