Business is regularly portrayed in public discourse as morally deficient and prone to despoil the environment, undermine democracy, and stunt development. Ann Bernstein, Founding Director of the Centre for Development and Enterprise in South Africa argues that these attitudes prevail in rich countries, but they harm the worldʼs poor. She discussed her new book, The Case for Business in Developing Economies.
