Stephen Colbert's Opening Statement To Congressional Subcommittee

Share
Is Congress laughing in the face of the American people and their concerns about the foreign invasion that occurs everyday in this nation. Instead of trying to fix the immigration system, protect the citizens, and defend the sovereignty of this nation they hear testimony from a comedian. I'm not laughing and I'm sure that many Americans feel the same way. I feel mocked and ridiculed by the Democrat party and those who have been sent to Washington and are ignoring their sworn duty to defend this nation. This is not governance, it is patronage in the most disgraceful way. We must remember this in November.
