On the August 27, 2010 Good Morning America, ABC's Claire Shipman selectively edited a clip of Glen Beck. She showed a snippet of Beck saying that "blacks don't own Martin Luther King." Shipman clearly distorted the context. He actually said, "Whites don't own Abraham Lincoln. Blacks don't own Martin Luther King. Those are American icons..."
